Is Ride Fit™ Right For Me?
Ride Fit™ training videos suit many different types of indoor cyclist. Here are a few examples:
There are many great reasons to bring some of your cycling indoors, one of the most obvious being that sadly too many of us live in regions where it's not possible to cycle all year long because of bad weather. Rather than suffering through dreadful and dangerous winter rides bring it inside and buy a stationary bike and/or turbo trainer. Then leave it to Ride Fit™ videos to provide you with a motivational and entertaining workout environment.
Stationary Bike User
If you use an exercise or stationary bike then you're already used to working out indoors. Ride Fit™ videos are not designed to replace your indoor cycling class but there are going to be times when you can't make a class or perhaps you're working out at home. If this is the case play a Ride Fit™ video on your favorite media device and immerse yourself in that "real ride" experience. As we like to say, "experience, as closely as can be achieved in an indoor environment, actually being there on the road." If your fitness center does not provide workout videos tell them about Ride Fit so you can more fully enjoy your indoor cycling room when no instructors are available.
Cat Cyclist / Triathlete
Rather than tell you the benefits of working out indoors, we'll leave it to Anne Samplonius, a Canadian professional cyclist. In a Ride Fit™ blog article, Anne wrote, "All my specific, intense workouts were done inside. There are no faster, better means of finding your form than using an indoor trainer. If you can handle a boatload of tempo pace pedaling and if you can mentally and physically plow through the challenging workouts, it is an effective and efficient tool to trim the fat, so to speak, from your training program. With the indoor trainer, you can condense your workouts and get right to the nitty-gritty. This gives you the best bang for your buck. If you are like the majority of cyclists who ride time is limited, the indoor trainer is the best tool you can have in your arsenal of bicycle paraphernalia. Trust me. I have fallen in love with my indoor trainer. I have seen it work its magic on me and it has become my life-long training tool."
If you're a Road Warrior in a new place or a foreign country there's nothing nicer than having something familiar with you. Take your Ride Fit videos on your laptop, tablet, iPad or smartphone and workout to your favorite cycling videos rather than staring at the blank walls or inaudible TV in the hotel fitness center. Ride through the likes of California, Nevada, and Spain and feel a little more at home!
Just Like Keeping Fit
Indoor cycling is one of the best forms of low-impact cardio exercise. In a 30 to 60 minute session, repeated several times a week, torch those calories, blast that fat and condition your cardiovascular system to function so much more efficiently. Indoor cycling can be enjoyed by any age group and Ride Fit videos provide stunning scenery and great music to "rock you through your workout". As Bill Walton (ex. Celtic, a three-time recipient of the NCAA Player of the Year Award and made-keen cyclist) said in a 2012 press release, "Ride Fit™ is a fantastic alternative when I can't get out on the open road with my bike. It's simple yet realistic and effective interface makes it easy to use and so much more fun than just about anything other than being "out there" on your bike. Ride Fit to Live. Live to Ride Fit. Roll on forever, enjoy the ride. Where will our Ride Fit take us today---undoubtedly to the Promised Land."
Recovering From Injury
Accidents can happen and a fall off your bike can often result in injury and perhaps a prolonged recovery. Sadly too many cyclists find themselves in this situation and are often cleared by their doctor to ride indoors before venturing out on the road again. If you find yourself in this position, using Ride Fit™ indoor cycling videos can get you through the boredom often experienced by those using a turbo trainer.
