Description: Organized in the format of an indoor cycling class, that is workout segments punctuated by short 30-second recovery breaks, this title features ride footage shot in the Casa de Campo and Colmenar Viejo regions of Madrid, Spain. This ride starts out over undulating terrain and then features two challenging hill climbs. It is ideal for general and endurance fitness training.
If using a heart rate monitor aim to stay mainly in Zone 3 in the first two segments and extend into Zone 4 during the two hill climbs. You may also break into Zone 5 as a spirited rider "attacks" you in Segment 3. See the Ride Fit Training Guide relating to the concept of heart rate zones. Madrid Montage uses text-based instructions with audio alerts. The overlaid digital dashboard shows resistance, target cadence, perceived effort level, has a segment timer, a timer that counts down to the end of the ride, and an elevation profile showing you where you are and what's coming next.
